How eco-warriors are using Covid as an excuse to drive cars off the road

I saw an interesting opinion piece some days ago that NY city is not going to make it through this crisis and that it won’t bounce back this time. Those with money are leaving and so is business leaving only those that can’t afford to move behind. And we have seen how those things end in moe than one decrepit US city. COVID has set in motion a move away from the city and made telework acceptable contributing to city flight. Cities in Europe won’t be spared. And this comes on top of a gloom cycle Europe enters now anyhow. The government cash dole will have to stop one day soon, and then its free fall. Kicking those that remain back with stupid business-unfriendly rules will only worsen everything. Cities will become greener – I just doubt you will like that every much.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
