Amid gas scramble, Africa leads a boom in nimble export facilities

Yes, Africa has become cool again but it’s nowhere near as cool as it could be. Africa is still a place where a massive amount of Natural Gas is flared, which means that it’s burned off with nothing useful coming out of that. A lot of this gas could be transformed into an exportable commodity or be used to help Africans overcome their endemic energy problems. But that requires tackling another endemic problem the continent has – corruption. That’s even harder to tackle than flaring.
