Predicting the outcome of future elections is impossible. Especially when they are really far off like a year or more. Too many things can happen in the meantime that take the edge off the frontrunner. All I know is that many governments have their peak of popularity very soon after they take office. Germany’s red-green-yellow coalition has still two years to go and is as popular as snot hanging down from your face. And there are plenty of regional elections until national elections hit. You can’t lose too many of those as well so labor might have a problem already.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
