When I was a teenager, I asked my grandfather how it was possible that an entire country fell for crazed mustached fellow and his henchmen. I could not believe how people could have taken the crap those people proposed seriously. I was sure that something else was involved and that a mature society would not fall for this again. How wrong I was – it’s absolutely stupendous. We have not learned a bit. A little virus brought the worst in us out in many solidly democratic countries. And climate extremism does it again.
