Any country that imports oil should look at this equation. No, let’s say this right – even if you export oil you should look at this equation. Take the US as an example. If it used all the LNG it produces and will produce in the future to develop its internal LNG as a fuel market it will save money for consumers and transported, make sure that the air gets better by spades, provide a deep and very stable market to LNG producers and have plenty of oil left that they can either reduce imports for or increase exports. Oil is easier to export and fetches higher prices than LNG does. Its a win-win-win-win. And the US plus Australia are not the only countries in such a position.
