China Proposes Max $4,500 Fine for Carbon Market Violations

The virtue-signaling must go on. But let’s assume that China charged really high prices for the carbon. What would happen is that state-dominated enterprises would pay money with one hand and get it back by the other as they all are not only on the leash of the CCP. They are also fed money by them. So this is a double cheat as only companies in Western countries will really suffer from carbon taxes – oh, prices.
