China sues the EU over EV duties

China is unhappy about duties? How about taking a look at how open the Chinese market is to anything from Europe? I doubt there is reciprocity. I doubt the Chinese allow European companies the same privileges they expect from the rest of the world. Maybe it’s time for the rest of the world to take a good hard look if China indeed ever lived up to its obligations as a member of the WTO. Not only in flexible letters but also in spirit. Maybe it’s time to label China as a predator economy that seeks to suck the rest of the world dry? Maybe it’s time to put a massive question mark on globalism. The Americans have given globalism the red card. Europe should too.
