How is Birol not blocked by the Media? I mean, he says what cannot be. China has been declared the poster boy of climate policy now that they have made an announcement that they have no intention to live up to ever. But we want to believe it even if everyone knows full well that all those news about China is just hogwash. Chinas emissions in 2021 will be higher than those in 2020 and so forth for every year thereafter until long after most of us are no more.

China's greenhouse gas emissions will increase in 2020 compared to 2019 as they have rebounded after the COVID-19 outbreak, the head of the International Energy Agency said on Wednesday.
