China’s Coal Power Rising Again

We have been served so many obvious lies by China that anything they say should be taken with a mountain of salt. And especially any announcement to reduce emissions while they are very busy building coal plants as if they were cookies coming off a belt. Those plants have a shelf life thats measured in decades. Anyone building one now has no intention at all to reduce anything.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
