China’s LNG imports set for first big decline as demand wanes

China’s demand goes down because of the COVID measures. It stands to reason that it will come back once those measures are lifted but I have a feeling that this drop in demand is more permanent than many of us like to believe. China goes coal big time as it’s cheaper and it’s also much easier to store. Also, we start to see the effects of the population drop resulting from one child. We know today that China has overcounted by at least 100 MM and likely has peaked already. This may be historic.
