Chinese gas forecasts leave LNG uncertainty
If LNG had started to put more business development effort into the transportation industry, it would not have to depend on one-trick ponies like China. China games the LNG market just like they game anything they run into. I don’t blame China for exploiting the market as well as they can. I blame us for running after the bling even when common sense should tell us that it’s not solid gold. All those USGC LNG projects that still wait for their FID could be in a much better place if they had developed what’s on their doorstep rather than lust for Asian excitement. No entrepreneurs in LNG it seems.
