Chinese investor appetite in US LNG unclear but talks continue: Tellurian

If China is your only game as a liquefaction terminal developer, you are in a bad spot. China has other problems than the tariffs. The Chinese economy tanks and the current economic war with the US only hastens a development that has been in the books for quite a while. LNG is the fuel that will run much of the planet at some time, just turning to the Chinese for a project is incredibly short-sighted.

Amid ongoing trade tensions, the state of Chinese investor appetite in US LNG projects remains to be seen, and active discussions with Chinese companies continue, Houston-based LNG project developer Tellurian Inc said Thursday.
