Climate change could shave off 3% of the world economy, study finds

Eliminating fossil fuels from the world economy could shave off 75% of the world economy. We like to forget that we owe the great lives we live right now to fossil fuels. Without them, it would be medieval still. You hear me, protesters. You could not spend daddys and mummys money without fossil fuels. If you would be alive you would pass 18 hour days laboring and Sundays would be reserved for prayers and house chores. I don’t even start to describe what the house you would be living in looks like. No iPhone charging station for sure.

Climate change could shave off 3% of world growth over the next 30 years, according to a study from the Economist Intelligence Unit.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
