Climate change may have changed the direction of the North Pole’s drift

I am no scientist but some common sense should filter should still apply. The magnetic poles wander around. The geographical poles don’t. The reason is that the solid core in the Earth rotates on its own and trundles which means it’s not in sync with the rotation of the rest. Thats what produces the magnetic field. And the core does not give two fly-droppings about ice masses on the surface of the planet.
