And just like this, coal prices are at the highest they have been in more than a decade. How many coal mines are in the black again? Kicking everything that smacks of a stable, reliable, and economical solution to the power needs of the European continent in the scrotum is no way to build resilience. In the US, the shale gas revolution has ensured that emissions are at multi-decade lows. In Europe, we like to talk a good game, but our results really suck.
