Dozens of LNG-laden ships queue off Europe’s coasts unable to unload

Thats the beauty of LNG. If you offer the highest prices, everyone will want to sell his wares to you. LNG can be rerouted, but pipeline gas cannot. This means that pipelines seem to be the safer investment as no matter what the global market does, you get your gas. Unless – of course – the supplier does not want to deliver to you anymore for whatever reason. In LNG, you have others to choose from. That’s not easy with piped gas. There are good reasons for both. And as long as those high prices in Europe exist, there will be queues at the terminals.
