I have a lot of beef with Elon – but I equally have tons of admiration for the man. He does things his way and thats always something I deeply admire. Now he wants his own Natural Gas source. I understand. Why wouldn’t he? Just imagine – a spaceport offering the lowest launch costs anyone has ever seen with his own fuel source. But drilling for gas is not something that one does on the side. It has a cost and if buying pipeline gas is cheaper, maybe that should be considered. Then again, maybe the man develops some new drill- and frack tech that pushes the industry to another level just as he did with so many other things. OK, objection dropped. Go Elon …

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
