Energy Scale: Nuclear Powered Future Means Thinking Big & Acting Now

Let’s not delude ourselves. We won’t start doing the right thing at scale now after we have been wrecking our energy systems for way more than a decade. There is still plenty of stupidity to go around and there are still plenty of activists with plenty of politicians lacking spine and doing their bidding. It will all change but when it does, the damage will be colossal and we won’t get out of it quickly. One quick fix is Natural Gas generation but there is only so much Natural Gas to go around. That said, still a lot faster than coal or nuclear so wind prepares the field for Natural Gas.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
