Eni hits new gas discovery offshore Egypt
Those lads are the masters of the universe in this part of the world. Not long ago Zohr and a string of other discoveries. Taken together with Israel’s gas finds and Cyprus, I don’t yet see gas deliveries to Europe but the countries around (not least Egypt itself) have huge needs so this will transform the region. Imagine LNG as a fuel for the many trucks going up and down the Nile river. Would save Egypt a lot of cash and start to clean up the notoriously filthy air in Cairo.
