EG seems to have recognized the signs of the times. If you produce LNG in the Atlantic basin and you are so far from the vanilla markets, you need to create your own market. Bata needs a lot of diesel in order to drive its economy. Using their own LNG in order to replace that cash drain is a smart move, a move that will see copycats. Smart move Mr. Obiang.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
