Europe Could Solve Gas Supply Problem With Return To Shale

That was the mother of all dirty words just 6 months ago. It was useless, nobody listened to you if one brought up the subject of shale. We are not even freezing yet and already there is a lot of discussion on shale in my own home Austria. I know that a lot of empty political gestures will follow as most people still hope this crisis will blow over soon and then we can go back to our old, hypocritical ways. But this won’t blow over because when the war is over we will find out that Russia just does not have the goods anymore.
