Apparently, Russia wants to return to the good old days when it called the shots and was able to extract all kinds of goodies in strategic long-term negotiations. Turns out that in the current situation, there must be more than just one European utility that would dearly love to return to this cozy state of affairs as well. But what bothers them is only that they have to compete. In the old world, they could change whatever they wanted. So they did not care what the purchase price was. Now they have to, and they don’t like it.
