Europe’s mammoth LNG import bill may drain energy transition coffers

Inflation starts to bite and it’s nowhere near where it’s going. This is going to be the real money drain. The import bill sure hurts but the massive debt we have taken to pay for all the virtue signaling is the true killer of economic prosperity. Sadly, I don’t see a fast way out of this as this would require a massive shift right now and this just seems not to be in the cards. Europe has been on a downward trajectory for many decades, actually since WW2. It needs a new economic model for a century now and thats still not on the horizon.
