Fjords Emit as much Methane as All the Deep Oceans Globally
The world’s natural methane emissions are no more than uneducated guesswork. Methane concentration in the air is measured in parts per billion. Not even the parts per million used for CO2. Because while CO still gives us a 3-digit number that can be hyped into something catastrophic, the methane count would go down to one digit on ppm. Pretty much anyone would immediately understand that the soup is ultra-thin. It’s not even a trace gas, it’s as close to nothing as can be without being there. And it’s thrown in prodigious volumes into the air which means it does not last long. Stop the insanity.
