Fossil Fuels for Decades and Beyond

The cold numbers must fly in anyone’s face. But they don’t. Swing your magic wand and make all fossil fuels go away ad the world screeches to a halt. No just a bit. It’s going to be the riots in some US cites on steroids and with no end in sight. Society will completely disintegrate. It’s ironic that its the liberal elites that will die off first as it’s them that depend on most on the services fossil fuels deliver. Take that away and their support systems crumble which in turn leaves them with nothing. Conservatives tend to be a bit more self-reliant and will last longer in the mayhem. But make no mistake – the world with no fossil fuels will be as dystopian as the one in the film “The book of ELI”.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
