Fracking in Poland
We in Europe have been living in a state of eternal bliss. We were able to pretend that everyone is our friend and that we could engage in the most senseless virtue-signaling while using outside sources to catch us when we fall. Russia needed the money, we needed the excuse. Great deal. Deep in our subconscious we always knew that bit was a deal that would eventually fall apart. I thought that reality in the Russian oil & gas industry would force that eventually but as things look, it comes a lot quicker. Europe won’t have any luxuries anymore. From now on it’s “what works” or freezing. I like that.
