FRANCE IS SUFFERING ITS COLDEST START TO FALL SINCE 1998, WITH ADDITIONAL ARCTIC BLASTS FORECAST

France is not alone with this. I hear cold stories from all over the planet and even here in Austria where I live, we had a comparatively cool summer. For the last 10 years, we always had long stretches with temperatures above 40° Celsius. This summer the highest we ever saw was 38° Celsius. On average it felt about 5 ° cooler this summer and if I look at the mercury right now, it’s almost freezing. We need thick jackets outside. Last year this time a long-sleeved shirt was enough. But the Grand Solar Minimum has started to produce its effects. Thats quite a start I would say and if this is a sign of things to come, we should get ready for some freezing.
