Fuel-cell maker Hyzon Motors craters after disclosing financial troubles

I don’t know for Hyzon Motors but the entire hydrogen sector is still beset by a lot of wishful thinking, making up of figures that please the banker’s eye rather than realities gaze. Hydrogen presents a set of very hard safety, technological and economic challenges. They need to be addressed open-mindedly and honestly. Hard questions need to be answered without any dogma tainting the issue. That has not been done so far so we will see more companies and projects go down the drain.

Hyzon Motors, which went public a year ago in a merger with a blank check shell company, is the latest electrification startup in trouble.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
