Fukushima still looms over energy decisions

Japan is between a rock and a hard place when it comes to energy. They need a lot of baseload and renewables just can fill that slot. It’s expensive and it’s unstable and Japan understands that you cant run a sophisticated economy on them as Germany and California start to discover. They use a lot more coal but this has a bad ring to it and LNG cannot be stored for a very long time. They need to put the nukes back on or risk serious energy break downs.
