Lots of activity and they need to as time is running short for Gazprom on the European theater. Current gas prices there would usually not call for big investments but Gazprom must ready up replacements for when the big legacy fields go down and that will happen during the 2020ies. On the one side most of those investments are out of the money on current market conditions, but on the other Russia cannot afford to let things slide to ease the money pressures. And as of today, we don’t know if Power of Siberia is in the money. I don’t envy them for this position as it reeks of one big gamble.
