And yet, they won’t give up and press on at other levels for this ban. But guess what – laws are made by man. They are not set in stone forever. They can be unmade just as easily as they have been made and they will – as political realities change at a breathtaking pace even here in Europe. Federal elections will hit Germany by mid-2025 at the latest. A string of lesser elections will show where the journey goes before. My own country votes one year earlier. Both countries have the Greens in the government. I am not going out on a limb when I predict that the Greens won’t play an important role in both countries’ politics for more than a decade thereafter. A lot can and will happen until 2035.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
