How long will it take people to realize that they are feeding a crocodile that will eat them eventually? There is no reasoning with extremists. There is no middle ground. They won’t stop at anything until they are brought down or they bring us down. Sadly, judging by past experience, we usually wait for way too long when the damage done is almost akin to collective suicide. It’s not nice nor is it easy but some things cannot be solved with compromise. You need to stand your ground.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
