Green Vehicle Entrepreneur Convicted of Securities and Wire Fraud

Does anyone remember the marketing video of Nikola where you saw a sleek-looking rig rolling down a hill? What did you think? Cool, I guess. Those hydrogen fuel cells seem to work really nicely and hydrogen as fuel for heavy vehicles looks really sexy too. Would it have looked as sexy if you had known that the rig only moved because gravity pulled it down the hill and that there was no propulsion coming from the rig? The green Industrial Complex is so full of frauds, Ponzi schemes, and scams that those in it really feel righteous about it. What does a little cheating and lying even do? Fake it until you make it – but this means there is an actual pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Not for Green industries. Their pot of gold is your money they expropriate through regulation and laws. Not markets.

Trevor Milton, founder of Nikola, who claimed to have developed prototype hydrogen and electric vehicles, has been convicted of deceiving investors.
