Hansen’s 1988 global-warming prediction was thrice observation

So in 1988, Hansen predicted that if the entire world worked to achieve net-zero in 2000, scenario C (as he described it) would unfold. It just so happens that now, in 2021, scenario C is what actually happened in the real world without any net-zero in sight. This means that scenarios A and B – both designed for scaring the Bejesus out of us – were a total bust. Why does nobody drag Hansen in front of a committee to explain himself? Either he is plain incompetent or he willfully fooled us all.

Hansen’s business-as-usual scenario A is now universally recognized, even among the Thermageddonites, to have been a baseless and absurd exaggeration. It predicts two or three times as much warming…

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
