Heavier EV’s not funding California Roadways

We have the same issue here in Austria – with regular Electric Vehicles. They are far heavier than regular vehicles resulting in a lot more road maintenance while they don’t contribute to its upkeep moneywise. It creates quite a lot of ill will and in my own part of the city of Vienna, there are many people that are pissed off. This is getting worse. Costs of life are rising, survuival itself rapidly become unobtainium and people dont know what bills to pay first and then they get the debates about all the freebies to the wealthy ones. You won’t see someone from the averages drive an EV. Guess what that does on ballot day. Guess also how long the freebies will last.
