Any manager that aims at objectives that lie 30 years in the future lies to get the issue off his back. Managers should be limited to objectives that lie within their tenures. Everything else is antcrap.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
