How do you Extinguish a Lithium Battery Fire?

You can’t. Have you seen an Electric Vehicle burn? It’s a very strong, toxic fire that will scorch everything around it. I always thought that it starts slow so you have plenty of time to walk away. Then I saw the video with the Tesla in China and how fast it started up. You don’t want that to happen where your children play. Have you considered what this is going to be like when thats not a small car but rather a big truck. You really don’t want to imagine.

A few weeks ago I asked a fire fighter friend how they extinguish electric vehicle battery fires. His answer was “you can’t”.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
