Importing LNG, despite US surplus

Expand on the transport of LNG by rail and Boston might not need the terminal after all. Or just put a pipeline there. Oh, that’s no good for some politicians there so the oldest US LNG terminal will receive further LNG from far afield when there is so much cheaper gas right at their doorstep.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
