India set to import record LNG volumes as spot prices slump on virus impact

OK, so India will binge on the current low prices. But LNG is not coal. You cant heap it up cheaply where it will sit until needed. Its a boiling liquid and you cannot store it forever. So, you need a deep and rather developed market for that kind of thing to happen. India can develop its gas market of course. But judging from past experience, this won’t be fast.
