Inflation Reduction Act May Become a Misnomer

When I was a young man I learned that solving a problem takes pretty much as long as creating it. We have created the foundation for our current inflation for the last 30 years at least. Maybe it won’t take us 30 years to resolve it but it’s also not going to be an act by one of those who gave us the problem that will even start resolving it. And throwing tons of freshly printed money onto an inflationary market just adds fuel to the fire. North America will get lucky as cheap energy will help it to re-industrialize and get up again. Europe won’t be so lucky.

The Inflation Reduction Act's name may become a misnomer.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
