John Kerry fears Russia-Ukraine war will distract from climate change

That was not the war. COVID did that as it has destroyed whatever credibility remained for conventional media and especially for politicians. Most people don’t believe anymore that politicians can resolve anything. And they started to feel the effects of inflation for real now. Climate Change has never been an issue that rallied the silent majority. It was pushed by fringe groups and the silent majority went along as long as their lives were still somewhat OK. That is over now – everyone is hurting. People have real problems now. Climate Change is over.

John Kerry warned Wednesday that Russia’s war against Ukraine is going to distract the world from the climate change crisis.
