Times have not changed much. Back in the day of Louis XVI and Marie Antionette, the rulers of France honestly did not understand why the people revolted. They never can. In their world, things are very different than for an average person. Thats no different today. Our ruling elite lives lifes that are so very different from ours that they can’t understand that their great solutions are disastrous for us. The only question is – how much pain can we take?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
