LNG ships play waiting game off Spain’s coast as higher prices eyed

The beauty of flexibility. I heard so many times that Europe will run out of gas because of the Ukraine conflict but that was always ridiculous in the extreme to say. Europe is not going to run out of gas as long as it’s ready to pay higher prices than anyone else for the privilege. Right now, everyone wants to dump its load into Europe because the cash out is sweet. Nice for sellers but what is that doing to Europe? Because when our industries leave the continent, how long will we be able to pay top dollar? There was a time when energy cost was not the most important part of the equation. That was when Europe stood for reliability, precision, innovation, you name it. None of that is true anymore.
