LNG smashes oil parity

OK, it smashed oil parity – for a short moment. What does that do to annualized LNG prices? Not much actually – they still remain relatively low. We had oil parity before. A short moment of crazy prices won’t pay for the investment you made into LNG as this takes many years to pay off. Thats the prices you are interested in. Breaking oil parity will only be the fly on the wall.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
