I understand why big companies and the finance world loves Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles. Who would not love guaranteed returns no matter what happens? Every company usually needs to put its products and services to the test before the customers. They don’t like it – it’s a fail and they lose their shirts. This keeps market players sharp as the duds get clobbered. Not so with green energy. No matter how lousy their solutions are, they always get paid. What incentive is there for them to evolve?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
