Mexico Seeks to Revive Pemex

You can’t revive a corpse. When you do that, you get a zombie. Wanna revive the oil and gas industry in Mexico? Privatize PEMEX and all oil and gas development and production. Retrench on regulation and taxation only. Give landowners rights to their subsoil. Create a watertight investment climate where investors are sure they will be able to operate unharmed by any populist tendencies. And yes, make sure those investors understand that you know about the climate scam and are not swayed. Watch a world-class O&G industry grow up.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
