New York Doesn’t Need a Smoking Gun to Win the Exxon Climate Trial

Witch trials are all the rage now in green crazed America. If we cannot stun you with made-up charts and hockey sticks, we will sue you out of existence. Just like anyone asking even an innocent question on Climate Change is immediately treated like a Nuernberg war criminal. Exxon cannot have known decades ago what we don’t know today. No one has proven a causal link between Climate Change and CO2. Not today and of course not in the past. Exxon did what every big and diligent company does – they contemplated the IFs. Not because they knew anything but because they asked questions. What’s wrong with that?

The state’s powerful securities fraud law may place the energy giant at a disadvantage in the $1.6 billion landmark case.
