Such projects will stay on the spending plans of politicians until people make those same politicians understand that they want existing problems solved – not new problems created. Many big cities in the US are suffering. White elephants like such wind projects are just one of them. But one does not bring jobs and industry back with promises for expensive, unstable energy.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
