Nigeria puts money into gas drive

Pipelines don’t have a happy history in Nigeria. It would be faster and way more efficient to use some of the NLNG LNG and distribute it by truck, barge, and rail. That could be done pretty quickly as well. Nigeria is a land of distributed generation. The genset is the tool of choice. Stick with it. Just make diesel give way to gas gensets.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
