North Dakota’s Bakken shale “holding back” U.S. oil production

But the Permian still grows and will continue to do so. As I have said in an article years ago, easy oil and gas is over. Sure, there will still be easy oil and gas fields out there but there won’t be enough of them anymore to cover the planet’s thirst for Oil & Gas. And don’t expect the planet to cut back on those commodities any time soon. Climate Alarmism has peaked and is on its retrenchment battle. This means for Oil and Gas that it needs something that can be optimized. Rather than spending big money on one-of-a-kind exotic O&G fields, squeezing the lemon in shale might come in cheaper and with less risk attached to it over the longer run.
